GulfSea Cylcare DCA 5040 was developed to address the tendency of certain blended fuels to form sludge and deposits. These fuels have a lower corrosion potential but may generate higher levels of deposits. This cylinder oil is formulated with enhanced detergency and provides excellent dispersancy, wear protection, and oxidation resistance. GulfSea Cylcare DCA 5040 is approved for use in modern, low-speed, two-stroke crosshead marine diesel engines operating at high brake mean effective pressure (BMEP) and high cylinder liner temperatures.
