Questions and answers regarding Agricultural Machinery and Equipment

What is the difference between STOU oil and UTTO oil?

Oil STOU (Super Tractor Oil Universal) is a multipurpose oil designed for use in the engine, transmission, hydraulic system, and wet brakes of certain tractors and agricultural equipment. In contrast, UTTO (Universal Tractor Transmission Oil) is designed for transmission, hydraulic systems, and wet brakes only and is not suitable for use in the engine. It is important to choose the correct type of oil according to the equipment manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure optimal performance and maximum service life.

How do I know whether my equipment requires STOU or UTTO oil?

The choice is determined by the equipment manufacturer’s recommendations. If the manufacturer requires separate engine oil and oil for the transmission and hydraulic systems, UTTO will generally be required. UTTOIf the manufacturer allows the use of a universal oil for all systems, STOU will be required. STOUIf in doubt, it is recommended to consult the manufacturer’s manual or contact Delkol’s team of experts.
